Rose Hip Rocks!

I can't believe the weekend is already over! A year and a half of hard work, planning, painting, and primping and the sale came and left in a quick flash. Our opening was a great success and everyone who walked in the door seemed to really love the transformation. A big thank you to all of our friends, family, local neighbors and new customers for coming to the sale and sharing this experience with us, your kind words and encouragement mean so much. We have a lot of ideas brewing as far as the future of Rose Hip Barn, so stay tuned because you can bet it'll be bright. So overall, as one of our customers put it, I think I can assume that the consensus is simply "Rose Hip Rocks!"

Ooops...

So, I just realized that in the excitement of all that is going on, we completely forgot to include the address to the barn. We are located at 371 Glen Mills Road in downtown Thornton PA 19373. We also have a new website rosehipbarn.com and you can read a little bit about the history of the barn and such ( please excuse the lack of info, pics, etc. as we are still getting things organized there ;) We have all been busy bees over here working hard and getting everything just so for the sale....stay tuned.

It's Official!

The day has arrived! Rose Hip Barn will be opening the weekend of May 14th and 15th from 10-5pm. We will be a tag sale barn....wait, what's a tag sale you say?? Well, a tag sale is basically a glorified yard sale....but a tag sale at Rose Hip is far from that. Our tag sales will be hosted at our barn one weekend every couple of months. The sales will vary and some will even be themed! When you arrive on opening day you will receive your tags (yes-tags, and this will be on a first come first serve basis) once you have your tags, you may start shopping! When you see something you want to buy, tag it! It's that simple! No need to carry a bunch of stuff around, just tag it and collect it all when you are finished shopping. For larger pieces like furniture, we ask that you kindly wait until the end of the sale to load it, and we will even have delivery services available for those who don't want to worry about it.

The idea is to stock the barn with really great items, open our doors to the public for one fabulous weekend of fun shopping, and clear out so that we can make room for the next sale. This way, we keep things moving and there will always be different treasures available for customers. This grand opening sale will include antique and vintage furniture (some reworked, some not), lots of china and kitchen ware, plenty of linens and textiles, jewelry, accessories, pillows, handmade goods, beauty products, candles, artwork and more. Refreshments and champagne will be served, so please stop in and check us out!
